PANEPISTIMIO AIGAIOU (Greece)

University of the Aegean (UAegean) has been founded in 1984 aiming at introducing innovative approaches in higher education in Greece and promoting regional development. Situated in 6 islands in the Aegean Archipelago, offers a unique natural, cultural, and human environment for modern studies. In less than thirty years, it has evolved into an international research-oriented University offering educational programs in modern interdisciplinary thematic areas such as cultural informatics, product design, educational design, Mediterranean studies, food and nutritional sciences, environment, communication systems. UAegean consistently receives excellent feedback in evaluations that take place at national, European, and international level. In 2016, UAegean was classified as the top-rated University in Greece, evaluated by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA). UNIVERSIDADE ABERTA

Established in 1988, Universidade Aberta (UAb) is the single public distance education university in Portugal. Due to its purpose, UAb uses comprehensively, in its teaching activities, the most advanced technologies and methods of Distance Learning, without geographical borders or physical barriers, and giving special emphasis to the expansion of the Portuguese language and culture within the Lusophony space (migrant communities and Portuguese speaking countries).

The European Association of Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC) was founded in 2004, with an official kick off during the ERACON 2005 (Erasmus Coordinators Conference and GO-Exchange Education Fair 2005) in Cyprus.

It is a membership association with more than 80 institutional members from EU and Non-EU Countries. Pedagogical University of Cracow (Poland)

Pedagogical University of Cracow is the best pedagogical higher education institution in Poland and it is also the earliest Pedagogical University in Poland. It is a modern and elite university. It functions according to the model of integrated education i.e. theoretical knowledge has been combined with practical skills. It is the most important and the strongest center of scientific and research facilities of the national system of education.

The mission of the Pedagogical University is exercised by professional and experienced teaching staff who apply modern and up to date teaching contents. It is also expressed through scientific research, outlining new fields of scientific development, transmitting knowledge, and developing and enriching the personality of the graduates by educating them according to the highest European standards.

The University gathers scholars of different scientific areas and disciplines paying particular attention to educational, psychological, methodological research. Since the beginning of its operation it has been constantly expanding its educational offer, making it more attractive, to meet the interests and needs of young people and of current needs of the society. The Pedagogical University of Cracow supports the harmonious development of individual disciplines, but prefers innovative interdisciplinary projects, also conducted in cooperation with foreign partners. The University continues to expand contacts with foreign research centers and promotes innovative research within international research teams, including those on contemporary globalization processes, sustainable development, education organization and management. Currently the University carries out research projects funded by the National Science Centre and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, research topics within its Statutory Activity. It has also substantial experience in the implementation of projects co-financed by the EU funds. The University cooperates with scientific institutions, universities and companies in joint projects and executes outsourced services for companies. It organizes conferences and symposia.
